Our client is a chartered accounting firm specialising in property, asset planning, legal structures, taxation, and compliance. About The Opportunity
They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their company in Newmarket, Auckland, with the potential to earn up to $80,000 per annum | Negotiable Salary between $70,000 - $80,000 Based on Experience.
The primary purpose of this position is to review financial statements and tax returns of less senior Accountants, ensuring their work is accurate.
As this firm is Property focused, you will be exposed to a lot of new tax expertise to assist clients.
The firm is highly innovative and has efficient systems and processes to ensure there is minimal time spent doing billing, timesheets and paperwork and more time spotting issues and opportunities for your clients. There is also a dedicated administration team to assist with any paperwork you do have.
About You
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Services accounting firm as well as experience using MYOB. You will be required to have excellent communication skills as well, as you will be face to face with clients regularly.
