About The Company
Based in Maroochydore, our client has over 20 years of experience working with a range of clients to meet their requirements. Specialising in fabricating, commercial and domestic benches, balustrades, handrails, window awnings, house frames, custom projects and more they have built a strong reputation as the go-to business for your fabrication needs.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out, STIK, MIG welding, and cutting working with a range of materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, and Brass.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Completing allocated tasks in a timely manner
- Ensure machinery and equipment are well maintained
- Read and understand plans fabricating what is outlined
- Follow safety guidelines when using machinery and hand tools
About You
With proven experience as a Boilermaker and Mig Welding you will also have:
- A trade Qualification in Boilermaking/Fabrication Trade
- The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- A current Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle electrical tools
A Forklift licence would be beneficial for this role.
