About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to make the kitchen your own. They are looking for a Head Chef that is willing to take the business in a new direction. Whether you are an experienced Sous Chef wanting to broaden your horizons or a Head Chef looking for a sea change, we want to hear from you.
Reporting directly to the Property Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Management of the kitchen staff including rostering
- Food preparation and presentation
- Menu design and cost planning
- Stock control
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years as Head Chef or Sous Chef
- Certificate III in commercial cookery
- A passion for food and the culinary arts
- Creative ideas for a new menu
- Patience, commitment, and attention to detail
