About The Opportunity

They are searching for a Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Manager to join their team in Lane Cove West, NSW. 

You have the opportunity to earn up to $150,000 + Super + Laptop.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and supporting operations to ensure SHEQ services are delivered across the business at the highest possible levels
  • Supporting management and staff to ensure all operations are delivered in a healthy and safe manner in accordance with all regulations
  • Maintain client relationships in relation to SHEQ and constantly seek opportunities to improve workplace health, safety, environment and quality processes on existing projects
  • Ensuring appropriate investigation and close out all incidents and near misses occurs in a timely manner
  • Conducting daily, weekly, and impromptu workplace inspections, audits, and observations as required to ensure that all SHEQ requirements are being met

About You 

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years + experience in SHEQ Management role with significant “hands on” experience, ideally within the Construction and/or Mining industry.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Cert IV or greater in OHS/WHS and/or Environmental Management & Cert IV or greater in TAE
  • A current drivers licence and Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in developing and maintaining an integrated SHEQ system
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001 requirements and processes
  • Demonstrated experience in workers compensation and return to work/rehabilitation management
