Our client was incorporated in 1990, and since then has become a backbone of the community, hosting local sporting events, children's charities, and other local events. Based in Bundaberg, this venue boasts a brand new state-of-the-art kitchen. It is non for profit and prides itself on creating a great work environment, and a fun atmosphere for all its patrons.
About The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head Chef some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the head chef with daily operations in the kitchen
- Menu and specials planning
- Assist and oversee apprentices
- Taking over the kitchen when the head chef is away
- Cooking meals to order
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 2 years experience in a kitchen or similar role
- Certificate III in commercial cookery
- Leadership abilities
- A love for the service/hospitality industry
