About The Company
Founded in 2009, our client is one of Sydney’s leading specialists in Building Code of Australia certification, compliance, reporting, and auditing. Their team of dedicated building surveyors, certifiers and BCA consultants offer timely solutions to complex building code issues during the design and construction phase.
About The Opportunity
Joining their team in their North Sydney office, you will earn up to $65,000 + Superannuation - Negotiable based on your experience and skills.
The primary purpose of this position is to be instrumental in making sure the Building Surveyors receive the daily support they need, by helping draft technical admin documentation, making sure spreadsheets and all records are up to date whilst carrying out several administrative tasks.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- partnering with the Building Surveyors on the development and maintenance of their Quality Management System
- effectively communicating via phone and email ensuring that all administrative support duties are completed accurately
- ensuring everything in the office runs smoothly on a daily basis
- general office management tasks
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the construction sector, preferably in an Architecture or Building Surveying office.
Additionally, you will have:
- a pro-active work ethic
- initiative and be able to work independently
- knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001 would be desirable
- great IT skills including Xero experience
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
