About the Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the maintenance of systems/hardware and supporting infrastructure. Serving as a key conduit between the business and its application vendors, you will ensure that their current applications and infrastructure are fit for purpose, optimised and support not only continuous improvement of existing processes but are aligned with their future vision.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain network maps and documentation for common processes
  • Maintain network appliance security updates and patches using Meraki throughout
  • Develop processes based on best practices for maintaining and administering equipment
  • Administer and maintain computer software, along with user support and setting up staff when required
  • Install, configure, administer and troubleshoot all corporate LAN/WAN environment's locally and internationally
  • Take responsibility for logging critical network components and identification of security incidents and intrusions
  • Configure and maintain network hardware (eg: IPS/IDS, firewalls, load balances, switches, routers and WIFI)
  • Manage backup solution (Veeam/AWS), disaster recovery and all server environments, SQL, SUSE Linux, Windows Server 2019

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with 2+ years experience with shell scripting
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Strong Citrix Workspace and Hyper-V experience along with backup and cyber security experience
  • Data science experience in database management including SAP, Salesforce or PowerBI (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and technical problem-solving skills
