About The Opportunity
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement Day Programs to cater for groups and individuals
- Coordinate activities to cater for all aspects of the participants environment including social, religious and cultural requirements
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the program, including leading and managing a team and developing and maintaining a budget
- Develop a strong network with stakeholders, participants, families, team members and the local community
- Manage and document risk for the facility and ensure a commitment to continuous improvement across the facility
- Support the effective documentation and full user support of policies, procedures and IT system requirements
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience running successful day programmes
- Certificate III in Individual Support/ Cert IV in Disability Studies or related fields (essential)
- NSW driver's license, First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong client focus to establish a network and a professional working relationship with stakeholders and clients that is supportive and encouraging
You will also have:
- Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proactive, adequate decision-making skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail and diligence in processes and policies
- Willingness to work outside standard 9 to 5 business hours if necessary
