About The Opportunity
As the Assistant Centre Director , you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children while promoting their learning and development.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with the Centre Director to ensure a high standard of care and education
- Being a hands-on presence on the floor, supporting the team as needed in the first 12 months
- Communicating positively and effectively with children and staff on a daily-basis
- Supporting and mentoring educators to enhance their professional growth
- Demonstrating a genuine passion for children's learning and well-being
About You
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Assistant Centre Director or be an experienced Educator eager to take the next step in their career.
You will also have:
- A passion for children's education and a thorough understanding of developmental areas
- Diploma In Early Childhood Education Or ECT Degree (or working towards a qualification)
- Strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with staff and families
- A commitment to supporting and guiding fellow educators as a mentor
- First Aid, CPR and Working With Children Check (Desirable)
- Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
