About The Opportunity

 As the Assistant Centre Director , you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children while promoting their learning and development.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Centre Director to ensure a high standard of care and education
  • Being a hands-on presence on the floor, supporting the team as needed in the first 12 months
  • Communicating positively and effectively with children and staff on a daily-basis
  • Supporting and mentoring educators to enhance their professional growth
  • Demonstrating a genuine passion for children's learning and well-being

About You

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Assistant Centre Director or be an experienced Educator eager to take the next step in their career.

You will also have:

  • A passion for children's education and a thorough understanding of developmental areas
  • Diploma In Early Childhood Education Or ECT Degree (or working towards a qualification)
  • Strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with staff and families
  • A commitment to supporting and guiding fellow educators as a mentor
  • First Aid, CPR and Working With Children Check  (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
