All Commissions within the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane are supported by the DSC, a centralised non-financial shared-service infrastructure that provides a range of corporate type services including: Information and Communication Technology; Marketing; Communication and Fundraising; Human Resources; Strategy; Legal; Archives; Property; and Risk, Compliance and Insurance.

About the Role
Our Diocesan Human Resources team, based in Stones Corner, is productive, professional, collaborative and flexible, and we work together to support a diverse portfolio of people and positions across the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane.
Our Safety & Wellbeing team is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to provide employee injury management services across Anglicare SQ, the caring arm of the Diocese. Anglicare activities include Community Care, Residential Aged Care, and a wide range of Social Service programs throughout Queensland.
Working in conjunction with another Injury Management Advisor, you will ensure Anglicare SQ employees are provided with exceptional claims and injury management services.
Your responsibilities will include the day to day management of WorkCover claims and the management of non-work related injuries or conditions with a clear focus on early return to work and appropriate support for injured workers. You will report to the Manager of the Safety and Wellbeing Team and work closely with Anglicare service personnel.
Our successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people. You will have a good working knowledge of workers compensation and workplace health & safety legislation, and a background in healthcare or community services would be highly regarded. You must be appropriately qualified to perform the functions of a rehabilitation and return to work coordinator, and be able to demonstrate positive outcomes in a similar role.
