About the Role
The Anglican Church Southern QLD’s Marketing & Fundraising team, based in the Brisbane CBD, is productive, professional, collaborative and flexible. We work together to drive the strategic direction for Anglicare and Church marketing and fundraising activities which reflect the organisation’s priorities, developments and outcomes.
We’re looking for an experienced events professional to join our team full time as our new Events Officer and coordinate the delivery of an integrated events program linked to the Anglican Church and Anglicare strategies, in order to increase awareness of services and programs, and develop, maintain and foster relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
We’re looking for an excellent communicator with well developed interpersonal, stakeholder and relationship management and engagement skills. You will have high-level written and verbal communication abilities, and be able to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Together with your qualifications in events, marketing or related discipline and your previous experience in developing, implementing and coordinating events, you will bring to the role an in-depth understanding of the events industry and excellent technical and logistic contacts. Most importantly, you will be a passionate and active advocate for our organisation, with the commitment to make a real difference to our team and the outcomes we achieve within the organisation and the community.
You will also require a current National Police or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement.
