About the Position
Anglicare Southern QLD’s Quality, Learning and Workforce Development (QLWD) team engages with and enables our Services to be leaders in the provision of safe and high quality client-centred care through innovative and evidence-based practice. As the Community Services sector continues to experience unprecedented and significant change, our current focus is on transformation – enabling, enhancing and preparing our people and quality systems as we move through this exciting period.
We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Coordinator to join our team full time in providing risk and compliance oversight, advice and facilitation to Anglicare and its various services and facilities. You will help develop, implement and embed an overall risk management process for Anglicare in collaboration with the Diocesan Director Risk and Insurance.
Using your demonstrated experience in establishing, maintaining and monitoring risk and quality reporting systems and tools, along with your excellent interpersonal skills, you will work with key stakeholders to manage risks to the organisation and establish quality systems and processes that evaluate, monitor and improve client/resident care and safety.
We’re looking for a tertiary or post grad qualified and experienced coordinator and leader with proven experience in a risk management role, and someone with an aptitude for report and policy writing, as well as problem solving. You will work autonomously and have demonstrated ability to motivate and work with staff to achieve organisational goals.
You will also require a National Police Certificate, the ability to meet legislated employment checks relevant to the service area, and a current Driver Licence and the ability to travel regularly to service sites through QLD (and some interstate travel for training purposes).
