About the Position
Townsville Community & Aged Care Services are key in providing care and support to a range of clients, including Aged Care and Disability services, throughout the local region. With a committed management team offering supervision and support, this fantastic group of professionals is looking for an Administration Officer to join them on a full time, fixed term contract.
With a start in early September, this three month assignment will run until the end of 2016.
The Administration Officer position’s major responsibility is to provide quality operational administration support, as directed by facility management. You will also assist in maintaining an efficient and client-centric service.
About You
We’re looking for a dynamic individual with strong administration skills capable of anticipating and managing the requirements of a busy service effectively. Requirements include:
- Database management and updating our client information system
- Reception duties including phone calls and greeting visitors
- General correspondence, administration and filing
- Accounts payable/receivable and petty cash management
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in the Non-Profit or Community Sectors would be beneficial

- Flexible and able respond quickly to changing priorities
- Monitor and manage your own workload
- Possess an unwavering attention-to-detail, even when tasks get routine
- Cool, calm and collected when working to strict deadlines and managing time sensitive projects
