About the Position
Anglicare Southern Queensland are in the process of implementing a Residential Care Management System to support our Aged Care facilities across the region. This project requires the services of a Clinical Nurse Educator to champion the implementation and roll-out of the AutumnCare system.
As a part of our Res-ecare Project team, this position will be a full time 12-month contract.
The overall purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive clinical process/ application based training and support to users for the roll-out of our resident care management systems. You will also be responsible for development of training materials and on-site training of users.
About You
With an extensive background as a Registered Clinical Nurse, you will also be experienced in the development of training packages and implementation of computer systems. Your expertise will include:
- Demonstrated clinical and application education and support in the Aged Care sector
- Familiarisation with computerised care management systems with previous use of AutumnCare an advantage
- Practical experience working in a project environment
- A background in vocational training which will include developing manuals and resources
- The ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team, but to also manage your own workload and responsibilities
- A friendly yet professional attitude; an open and approachable nature and a dedication to achieving successful results
The role will require significant travel to implement the system at our eight Aged Care facilities across Southern Queensland. Flexibility to work additional hours, outside of normal working hours, is essential.
Your qualifications will include:
- Minimum Bachelor of Nursing, and several years practical experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Current AHPRA Registration
- National Police Certificate
- Current open Qld Drivers Licence
