About the Position
Anglicare SQ is one of Queensland’s most experienced community service providers, and over the years our offering has evolved under different banners, and expanded greatly to include “all of life” services. Our range of supports is ever-increasing and are delivered in partnership with government and other organisations, providing care and assistance to society’s most vulnerable. As part of our internal restructure, we are looking for a full time Receptionist, based within our Corporate Services team in Brisbane’s CBD.
This newly-created role will provide a polite and professional welcome to all visitors accessing Anglicare SQ via telephone or in person. The role is also responsible for managing a varied range of administrative activities and other duties as required.
About You
With a significant and successful background in reception management and general administration, your skills and experience will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact - in person and on the telephone - with a pleasant and professional manner
- Strong clerical and administrative skills including manual and electronic filing; scanning and copying; creating documentation and reports
- Previous experience in managing incoming and outgoing mail; liaising with couriers and other deliveries; maintaining office and kitchen supplies
- Strong computer skills with intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Suite and an understanding of CRM systems and databases

- The knowledge to manage, delegate or escalate matters as required
You will be required to hold a current National Police Certificate.
