Library assistants are our frontline of customer service for the Cobar Shire & TAFE Library and are passionate about giving back to the community. Duties include issuing and returning all library materials using our computerised library system; troubleshooting technology, receipting money from the public; as well as other general office and clerical duties.
To be successful in this role you will have exceptional customer service skills and the enthusiasm to help our diverse range of public library users with an adaptable approach to tasks and the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
This position has been classified as a Band 1, Level 2 ($24.91 - $28.84 hr) plus superannuation under Council’s salary system in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. This position will be part time, working approximately 25-30 hours per week, including Saturdays.
