Heavy Vehicle Plant Mechanic

Council is seeking to appoint an experienced, trade qualified Mechanic to join our Workshop team. The heavy vehicle plant mechanic is responsible for the efficient and timely completion of all servicing, fabrication, installation and repair of Council plant and equipment in both the workshop and throughout the Shire, as well as assisting with RMS Registration Inspections with licensed personnel.

This full-time position has been classified as a Band 2, Level 2 ($31.03 - $35.92 per hour) plus any applicable allowances and superannuation in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award, working a nine-day fortnight, 38 hours per week.
