Cobar is a rural mining community located in far western New South Wales. Our shire is one of the largest in the state, spanning over 44,000 square kilometres.
This role may be suited to a manager who has worked their way up the ranks of water and sewer operations or a technically capable, and qualified engineer with strong interpersonal skills and the ability and willingness for hands on troubleshooting with their team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Utilities and Environment, our preferred candidate will lead our operational crews, coordinating the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works, and assisting with our capital projects. Someone who not only knows the way, but can effectively show others the way.
A total remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate, dependent on skills, experience and qualifications including an annual salary range of $112,000-$130,000 plus superannuation and may also include relocation assistance, housing subsidy, and vehicle for operational use.
