Assistant Venue Manager

X-Golf Is one the largest indoor golf entertainment venues in Australia. With the continued growth and success at the West Lakes Venue, we are looking for a Supervisor to join the fun and participate in our continued success.

This venue is owned and operated by SANFL as part of the X-Golf Group. The venue services a wide range of guests with a large, upbeat team serving cocktails, drinks, full service kitchen & most importantly – indoor golf entertainment.

We are a sports entertainment, passionate and service centric team. As part of a broader entertainment precinct with significant team growth there are ample opportunities for professional upskilling and development and broader business opportunities for the team.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, this is unique opportunity for an entertainment sports enthusiast, and service operations professional to join our great team and exciting new venue.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

Being the face of the venue and the brand to West Lakes
Working both front and back of house
Delivering a best in class customer experience
Support the training and developing staff
Assist with stock management
Manage bookings and events
Maintain our POS system

We are looking for someone with:

Supervisory experience in the retail, hospitality or entertainment industries
The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders combined with the ability to take ownership and problem solve
The Venue operates 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm requiring flexibility with rostering
Must have some availability nights/weekends
Great values based leadership skills
Customer service champion and excellent supplier interpersonal skills
Business level Microsoft office skills
An interest in golf / sport desirable
Demonstrated empathy for entertainment experiences.
Positions available are part time (30 hours per week) or Fulltime
Competitive salary on offer

Qualifications:

DHS Working with Children Check
Current RP certification
Food safety certification
Drivers license
