WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT THIS JOB
Based in the Eyre Peninsula region of South Australia, you will be a part of the energetic and hardworking team at SANFL spread around metro and regional areas delivering Footy across SA. You will be responsible for coordinating a variety of SANFL programs across the Norwood Football Club Country Zone. These programs include:
- Zone development, driving participation and quality experiences
- Promotion of SANFL breadth of programs for all
- School football engagement
- Relationship building across all key stakeholders including Clubs, Schools, and Local Government
There will also be a focus on the following:
- Work with SANFL Community Program Leaders regarding specific focus areas including women & girls, multicultural, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island and disability.
- Support umpire recruitment
- Assist talent programs where required
- Supporting the Norwood Football Club’s engagement in the zone
Considerable travel across the region will be required and SANFL will supply a fully maintained vehicle.

ABOUT YOU
Your enthusiasm and passion for the growing Footy is supported by experience and understanding of junior sport participation, and a demonstration of personal and professional development to grow relevant skills to successfully deliver the job. Your ability to foster strong relationships with schools and clubs will be driven by your delivery of quality footy experiences, support for volunteer workforces and professionally representing the SANFL and Norwood Football Club brands.
Your success in the role will be underpinned by the following:
- DHS Working with Children Check
- Current South Australian Drivers Licence
- An empathy and understanding of Australian Rules football at various levels
- Working knowledge of Safeguarding Children & Young Practices
- Experience in working with volunteers in a club sporting environment
- Coaching and/or teaching experience
- Experience in building relationships with key stakeholders
