WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT THIS JOB

The Marketing Coordinator (Game Development) will facilitate the development, implementation and reporting of integrated marketing communication campaigns across multiple channels to support SANFL’s Game Development growth targets.

.  Key areas of focus include::

Marketing

  • Communications and Campaign Strategy to support Auskick, Superkick, SANFL Schools, SANFL Juniors, AFL Nines, Community Football, Coaching, Umpiring and Volunteer objectives
  • monitoring, analysis and reporting on campaign performance metrics, providing insights and making data-driven recommendations to optimise campaign performance
  • Writing copy, preparing insight reports and coordinate key event calendar

Social Media

  • Lead social media initiatives (both paid and organic), including management of the ‘SANFL in the Community’ Facebook Channel
  • Create high quality content, and content calendar
  • Community Management of any participation/game development focused social media channels

Brand

  • Collaborate with the SANFL Brand and Marketing Manager, and AFL equivalent, to ensure SA Game Development assets achieve SANFL and AFL brand strategy and guidelines

ABOUT YOU

Your enthusiasm and passion for the growing grass roots Footy is supported by your creative drive and well developed understanding of content trends, a demonstration of personal and professional development to grow relevant skills to successfully deliver the job.  Your ability to foster strong relationships with across teams clubs will be driven by your highly organised work approach and clear and concise communication.  You will also have a strong understanding of suitable practices for engaging young people in social media and child safeguarding principles for online content and marketing.

Your success in the role will be underpinned by the following:

  • DHS Working with Children Check
  • Current South Australian Drivers Licence
  • An empathy and understanding of Australian Rules football at various levels
  • Working knowledge of Safeguarding Children & Young Practices
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, digital, communications or related field
  • Access to a reliable well maintained vehicle
