An exciting opportunity for an experienced casual Senior Chef to join our great team at Mosaic Hotel:

Mosaic Hotel is looking for a Casual Senior Chef for 25+ hours per week, rostered across 7 days, including nights and weekends. There is potential to transition to a full-time role after a successful probationary period.

• Casual position – working up to 25 hours per week for the right candidate
• Immediate Start available
• Great West Lakes Location

Key Requirements:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
• Full Australian working rights
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate (desirable)
• 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in ordering and managing budgets

• You will manage a kitchen section and support overall operations to ensure quality, consistency, and smooth service. The role involves:
• Lead by example with strong food safety, stock management, and attention to detail
• Collaborating on creative menus and weekly specials
• Maintain quality and consistency using standard recipes and plating guides
