Feedlot Operator

The role:

You will play an integral role within the business be responsible for the overall care and management of cattle within the feedlot.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment where you can grow your skills and make a significant impact.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Operating loaders to carry out tasks within the feedlot.
• Undertaking pre-start inspections of all machinery prior to operation.
• Reporting mechanical faults to the Supervisor.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the feedlot.
• Promoting a safe work environment.
• Assisting with record-keeping and inventory management.

Who we are looking for:

• You have experience in feedlot operations or similar agricultural roles.
• You have a strong understanding of cattle behaviour and welfare.
• You can operate and maintain farm machinery.
• You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• You have commitment to safety and quality standards.
