Are you a talented Head Pastry Chef with a passion for creating exquisite desserts and pastries? We are currently seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our pastry kitchen and elevate our dessert offerings to new heights.

The Role: As our Head Pastry Chef at Establishment 203, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a diverse range of high-quality desserts, pastries and bread that delights our guests. You will work closely with our culinary team to develop innovative dessert menus that complement our seasonal and contemporary dining experiences. With your expertise and attention to detail, you will ensure that all pastry creations meet our standards of excellence in taste, presentation, and quality.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative dessert menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, including production, preparation, and plating of desserts.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise pastry kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate dessert offerings with the overall menu concept and dining experience.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as regulatory requirements.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality establishment.
  • Strong creativity and passion for pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavour combinations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced culinary environment, with strong communication and organizational skills.
