Fort Constantine is an active cattle station with around 15,000 head, including a stud and commercial breeding herd, and a backgrounding operation.

We're on the hunt for a passionate and energetic Head Stockman to join our team of 12 and keep things running smoothly.

Role Overview: As the Head Stockman at Fort Constantine, you will oversee the daily operations of our 15,000-head cattle station, including a stud and commercial breeding herd and a backgrounding operation. Leading a team of 6 staff in the stock camp, you will organize mustering operations using horses, motorbikes, and helicopters, and manage tasks such as fencing, water projects, machinery maintenance, and weed control. Your leadership and hands-on approach will be key in fostering a cohesive and effective team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our station.

What You'll Be Doing:

• You will lead a fantastic team of 6 staff in the stock camp through all the adventures of station life.
• Organising and managing mustering operations with horses, motorbikes, and helicopters.
• Getting your hands dirty with fencing, water projects, machinery maintenance, and weed management.
• Leading by example and mentoring your team to work together effectively.
