Kamilaroi Station runs around 25,000 head of beef cattle and is located approximately 180km north of Cloncurry in the lower Gulf of Carpentaria Qld.

We’re seeking a motivated and dedicated Stockhand to join our team at Kamilaroi Station in stunning Northern Queensland. As a Stockhand, you’ll be an integral part of our daily operations, ensuring the health and welfare of our livestock, maintaining property infrastructure, and supporting general station activities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with mustering, drafting, and handling cattle.
• Monitor and maintain the health and welfare of our livestock.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fences, yards, and equipment.
• Assist with water and feed management for livestock.
• Support general station activities and operational tasks.
• Operate and maintain station vehicles and machinery.

About You:

• You have experience in livestock handling and station work is preferred.
• Experience with horse and motorbike mustering is advantageous.
• Strong practical skills and mechanical aptitude.
• You can work independently and as part of a team.
• You are reliable with a proactive approach to tasks.
