Role Overview:

Are you a beef enthusiast with a knack for sales and a deep understanding of the meat industry? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can leverage your existing network to create new business opportunities? As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of Stanbroke’s expansion into the US market, focusing on both direct-to-retail and food service customers. Plus, you'll champion our value-added products like dry-aged beef, ground beef, and sous vide offerings. This is an exciting role within a leading Australian beef company, and it's a newly created position offering you the chance to shape our North American presence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Expand Our Reach: Utilize your expertise in beef production, sales, and international trade marketing to grow our market presence.
  • Build Relationships: Leverage your network of US customers to identify and cultivate new business relationships.
  • Support Our Clients: Assist existing customers in expanding their business through joint sales calls and by introducing potential new end-users.
  • Promote Our Products: Plan and execute customer product and marketing events to showcase Stanbroke’s premium offerings.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel across North America and occasionally overseas to strengthen our market position.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the beef supply market, including Grass-fed, Grain-fed, and Wagyu.
  • Customer Network: Existing relationships with retail (supermarket) and food service importers/distributors across North America.
  • Sales Savvy: Proven track record in business development and sales, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Event Planning: Ability to organize and execute successful product and marketing events.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to a dynamic market environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills.
