As our Value-Add Facility grows, we're on the lookout for skilled Maintenance staff to handle the increased workload and help keep our operations running smoothly. We are seeking an experienced, trade-qualified Maintenance Electrician (Commercial/Industrial) to join our team at the Grantham Processing Plant.
About the Role:
We’re looking for someone with a solid background in Electrical Maintenance, a strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, and excellent interpersonal skills. While experience in the food or meat processing industry is an advantage, it’s not essential.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain plant and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical circuit issues promptly.
- Perform PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Full Work Rights in Australia: Essential for all applicants.
- Trade-Qualified Electrician: You have the credentials we need.
- Experience: Proven ability in plant and equipment maintenance.
- Specialist Skills: Extensive experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician.
- Safety Focused: Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces, with a commitment to safe Lockout procedures.
- Commercially Minded: Able to minimize production downtime.
- Adaptable: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Availability: Willing to work on a rotating Day and Afternoon Shift schedule, including some weekends.
