Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a renowned cattle station and play a crucial role in maintaining water supplies for livestock? We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Bore Runner to join our team at Fort Constantine Station.

Role Overview: As a Bore Runner, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance, inspection, and repair of water infrastructure across the station. This role is vital in ensuring that all livestock have access to clean and sufficient water, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our operations. Based at Fort Constantine Station, located in the heart of Queensland's cattle country.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly inspect and maintain bores, pumps, tanks, troughs, and associated water infrastructure.
  • Monitor water levels and ensure adequate supply across the station.
  • Identify and repair any faults or issues promptly to prevent disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of water usage, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the station manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in bore running, water infrastructure maintenance, or similar roles is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote and challenging environment.
  • Basic mechanical skills and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate 4WD vehicles safely.
