Role Overview:

As a Ringer at Stanbroke Properties for the 2025 season, you will be an integral part of our station team, responsible for mustering, handling, and managing cattle, maintaining station infrastructure, and supporting day-to-day operations. You will work closely with other team members to ensure animal welfare, safety, and operational efficiency, all while experiencing life on a large-scale cattle station in the Australian outback. This role is perfect for those with a passion for the pastoral industry and a desire to be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Muster, handle, and manage cattle on horseback or motorbikes.
  • Perform general station duties including fencing, water maintenance, and yard work.
  • Support the station team in day-to-day operations to ensure the efficient and safe management of our cattle station.
  • Work closely with the livestock team to ensure animal welfare standards are met.
  • Participate in other station activities as required, including maintenance and repairs.

  • You have experience working with cattle, including mustering on horseback or motorbikes.
  • You are physically fit and able to handle the demands of station life, including long hours in varied weather conditions.
  • You have a strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • You are adaptable, willing to learn, and open to taking on a variety of tasks.
