Are you an experienced Truck Driver with a passion for the open road and livestock handling? Join Stanbroke's Gulf Maintenance team as a Truck Driver and play a vital role in our operations, transporting livestock and equipment across remote locations.

Role Overview: As a Truck Driver within our Gulf Maintenance team, you will be responsible for safely transporting livestock and essential supplies to and from our stations. Your role will require strong livestock handling skills, experience driving road trains, and the ability to work independently in remote locations. You’ll ensure the smooth operation of our transport activities and help maintain our high standards for animal welfare and safety.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate road trains and trucks to transport livestock and equipment.
  • Handle and care for livestock during transport, ensuring animal welfare standards are met.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with station teams to ensure timely and efficient transport operations.
  • Manage and document transport activities, including trip logs and maintenance records.
  • Assist with general maintenance duties as needed within the Gulf Maintenance team.

  • You have experience with road trains and cattle transport.
  • You have strong livestock handling skills.
  • You have previous remote work experience.
  • You have a clean driving record.
  • You have mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance.
