Peter Augustus Craft Butcher is owned by Stanbroke Beef, a vertically integrated company with cattle farms, feedlot, and meat processing.  We are passionate about the beef we produce and need likeminded people to help sell our products to the public.  We produce five categories of beef which include Wagyu, Angus, Grass Fed, Grain Fed and Organic.  These are all the highest quality which make selling them an easy task.  We also team with other likeminded suppliers to source other quality items like Ryukyu Pork, Southeast Qld lambs and free-range chicken.

Role Overview: As a Retail Butcher, you’ll be at the heart of our meat department, ensuring that our customers receive the finest cuts and personalized service. Your expertise in meat preparation, customer interaction, and attention to detail will make you an essential part of our team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Cutting, Trimming, and Packaging: You’ll expertly slice and dice meat from large wholesale portions into steaks, chops, roasts, and other delectable cuts.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect and maintain high standards for all meat products.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, answer their questions, and provide advice on proper cuts and preparation methods.
• Display Presentation: Create attractive displays that showcase our mouthwatering offerings.
• Inventory Management: Keep records, manage budgets, and maintain inventory levels.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Qualification: Cert III in Meat Processing (Food Services) or (Retail Butcher)
• Meat Knowledge: Familiarity with different cuts and meat preparation techniques.
• Knife Proficiency: Confident and safe knife use.
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills.
