Role Overview: Stanbroke Feedlot is seeking an experienced and passionate Livestock Manager to join our dynamic team. The Livestock Manager will oversee the daily management and welfare of our cattle, ensuring the highest standards of care and productivity. This role is critical to maintaining the quality and integrity of our livestock operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily management of livestock, including feeding, health monitoring, and general care.
• Implement and manage animal health programs, including vaccinations and treatments.
• Supervise and train staff in livestock handling and care.
• Maintain accurate records of livestock inventory, health treatments, and production data.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant animal welfare regulations and company policies.
• Manage the selection and induction of new cattle into the feedlot.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve livestock performance and efficiency.

Who We Are Looking For:

• You have experience in livestock management, preferably within a feedlot environment.
• Strong knowledge of animal health and welfare practices.
• You have excellent leadership and team management skills.
• You can work independently and make informed decisions.
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams.
• You have commitment to safety and compliance standards.
• You have a current firearms license (desirable).
