Role Overview: The Farm Hand at Stanbroke Feedlot is a crucial member of our agricultural team, responsible for overseeing and participating in various farming activities, with a particular focus on crop management and machinery operation. This role requires a farm hand with experience in planting, spraying with self-propelled sprayer and maintaining farm machinery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Crop Management: Oversee and participate in all aspects of crop growing, including planting, irrigation, fertilization.
• Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Team Leadership: Help lead and mentor junior farm hands, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and infrastructure.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of spraying, machinery usage, and maintenance activities.

Who We Are Looking For:

• You have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• You have basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• You have excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• You are committed to safety and best practices in farming.
• You have basic knowledge of GPS farming systems, such as Greenstar.
• You have positive mindset and a team player attitude.
• You are reliable, honest, hardworking, and passionate about working on the land.
