The Role
As Station Manager at Glenore, you will oversee the station’s daily operations, with a strong focus on safety, team leadership, and livestock performance. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe, productive, and collaborative environment while managing all aspects of station operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team of station employees and contractors with a focus on safety and well-being.
  • Driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Overseeing cattle operations, including mustering, husbandry, and stock movements.
  • Monitoring and maintaining water systems, fencing, and station infrastructure.
  • Implementing effective grazing and pasture management strategies.
  • Managing budgets, reporting, and adhering to company policies.
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to ensure seamless operation and team cohesion.

  • You are a results-driven leader with a passion for safety, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach. 
  • You excel in managing teams, livestock, and operational priorities while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • You have experience in station management or a comparable leadership role.
  • You have a commitment to safety as a top priority, with a track record of implementing and maintaining safety standards.
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with the team and stakeholders.
  • You have good numeracy skills, with the ability to manage budgets and report accurately.
  • You have technological proficiency, including familiarity with station management software and digital tools.
  • You have exceptional livestock handling and husbandry expertise.
  • You have a sound understanding of grazing management and infrastructure maintenance.
