Take charge of workplace health and safety at Stanbroke’s state-of-the-art processing plant in Gatton, where innovation, quality, and safety converge to support our globally renowned cattle and beef operations.

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to lead our safety initiatives at our Gatton processing plant. This role is critical in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all team members.

Our processing plant in Gatton is central to our operations, where safety, quality, and excellence come together.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage WHS policies and procedures to meet compliance and operational needs.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide training and support to employees and managers on WHS practices and requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to foster a strong safety culture across the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation, standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain and report on key safety metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • You have experience in a WHS management role, ideally within manufacturing, agriculture, or food processing.
  • You have strong knowledge of WHS legislation and best practices.
  • You have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence teams.
  • You have experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
  • You have relevant qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • You have a hands-on approach and a commitment to fostering a safe workplace culture.
