The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Security officer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and protection of our people, property, and operations. You will be responsible for patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, managing access control, and managing the livestock in the absents of our stock personnel. This position requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security patrols of the premises and surrounding areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to identify and respond to any unusual activity.
• Manage access to the site by checking credentials and issuing visitor passes.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
• Assist in emergency drills, evacuations, and first response procedures.
• Provide courteous and helpful service to staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Assist operations staff during livestock transport or loading activities, when requested.

Who We Are Looking For:

• You have a current and valid Security Officer license.
• You are reliable, professional, and maintain a high standard of conduct.
• You have strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• You can stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
• You have basic computer skills and can maintain clear, accurate records.
• You are flexible and able to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
