About the Role:
As the Night Shift Cleaning Manager, you’ll oversee all cleaning operations during the night shift, ensuring the plant meets strict hygiene and safety standards. Leading a dedicated team of up to 30, you’ll be responsible for supervising cleaning routines, managing supplies, and addressing any immediate cleaning needs that arise.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, train, and support the night shift cleaning team to meet sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to regulatory and internal safety standards.
- Scheduling and Planning: Organise nightly cleaning routines, ensuring all areas are thoroughly sanitised and ready for production.
- Inventory and Supplies: Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating replenishments as necessary.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including issues, incidents, and compliance checks.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce health and safety regulations across the cleaning team and plant.
Who We are Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning management role, ideally within a food production or manufacturing facility.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality control and attention to detail.
- Organisation: Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to Night Shift: Ability to work reliably on the night shift schedule.
