Project & Operations Coordinator

Job No: SBB424
Location: Brisbane

About us:

Stanbroke is a reputable family-owned and operated Australian Cattle and beef business. Our operations span Northern Queensland, with extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, a state-of-the-art cattle feedlot, a fully accredited beef processing facility, and global marketing capabilities. We offer a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 35 countries globally. Stanbroke’s Brisbane Head Office manages all aspects of the business's vertical integration.

We’re looking for a proactive and technically capable Project & Operations Coordinator to support the delivery of critical infrastructure and operational projects across our growing business.

About the Role:

Working closely with our team - whose vision, experience, and network are driving our strategic growth - this role is all about turning ideas into practical outcomes. You’ll be the one on the ground, supporting the General Manager to ensure they stay on track.

This is a hands-on, diverse position ideal for someone with a background in construction, infrastructure, engineering or technical project delivery. You’ll play a vital role in:

  • Supporting infrastructure projects such as feedlot expansion, DA approvals, drainage, milling systems and more.
  • Coordinating logistics, contractors, and timelines across multiple sites.
  • Assisting in operational project administration and scoping including detailed analysis and cost reporting.
  • Managing technical documentation, reporting and presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Providing regular project updates and operational insights to key team members.
  • Travelling to sites as required to oversee or support work on the ground.
  • Organising and coordinating day-to-day maintenance needs for the Brisbane office.

You don’t need experience in agriculture, but you do need a solid understanding of how projects come together - and the initiative to make things happen.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A background in building, construction, engineering or infrastructure delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel, report writing and presentations.
  • The confidence to engage with people at all levels - from contractors to company leaders.
  • A forward-thinking approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • A ‘get in and get it done’ attitude - you're not afraid to do the legwork.
  • Flexibility to travel as projects require.

What We Offer:

  • State-of-the-art offices: Work from our modern headquarters in Brisbane.
  • Diverse role: A role with variety - no two days are the same.
  • Professional growth: Enhance your skills within a leading, vertically integrated business.
  • Supportive Team Environment: Join a collaborative and innovative workplace.
  • Family-Owned Stability: Be part of a trusted, family-operated Australian business.
  • Employee Benefits: Exclusive discounts on our premium meat products, and more.

Ready to Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to work closely with a high-level operator and gain exposure to infrastructure projects and help shape the future of our business. You’ll be supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow – with the chance to leave a real mark.
