Are you a hands-on couple looking for a rewarding lifestyle role in a unique part of Queensland? Stanbroke is seeking an experienced and motivated couple to live and work at Warrenvale Station, located in the picturesque Gulf of Carpentaria.

About us:

Stanbroke is a reputable family-owned and operated Australian Cattle and beef business. Our operations span across Northern Queensland, with extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, a state-of-the-art cattle feedlot, a fully accredited beef processing facility, and global marketing capabilities. We offer a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 35 countries globally. 

Your Role:

This is not your typical station role - Warrenvale is a hospitality hub for our northern operations, hosting functions, board meetings, sales events and visiting management and clients. We’re looking for an organised, practical and welcoming couple who take pride in presentation, enjoy cooking, and thrive in a busy environment.

You’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining the property and accommodation facilities, ensuring everything is guest-ready at short notice at times.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing and maintaining guest accommodation (13 rooms, including executive suites and cabins)
• Cooking and providing meals for visiting teams, guests and events
• Managing housekeeping, laundry and cleaning duties
• Maintaining gardens, lawns and hedges across the 5-acre property
• Setting up for functions, BBQs, and meetings.
• Coordinating vehicles and ensuring guests know where they need to be
• Keeping grounds and facilities neat, tidy and well-presented at all times

You’ll be supported with resources, manuals and photos detailing room setups, and our pilots are always nearby to assist with last-minute supplies or requests.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll be:

• A capable and reliable couple with a strong work ethic
• Highly organised with attention to detail
• Friendly, professional and comfortable engaging with senior management and guests
• Experienced in hospitality, gardening, cleaning or property management
• Confident cooks who enjoy preparing meals for groups
• Flexible and adaptable – especially during busy periods (June to August)
• Comfortable living in a remote location and used to working independently
