Business Systems Developer

Join us as a Business Systems Developer and make a real impact on our ERP and system integrations.

We’re looking for a skilled Business Systems Developer to join our expanding IT team. This newly created role has been designed to strengthen our internal capability, de-risk critical projects, and reduce reliance on single individuals. You’ll work alongside the Senior ERP Developer to deliver technical solutions, integrate systems across ERP, CRM, Loadout, HR, and Finance, and support AI and automation initiatives.

Stanbroke is a reputable family-owned and operated Australian cattle and beef business.  Our operations span across Northern Queensland, with the extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, a state-of-the-art cattle feedlot, a fully accredited beef processing facility and global marketing capabilities. We offer a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 35 countries globally. Brisbane Head Office manages all aspects of the business's vertical integration.

Your Role:
You will provide development and integration support, helping to translate business requirements into sustainable, efficient technical solutions. Working across SQL, PostgreSQL, TypeScript/JavaScript, and APIs, you’ll support ERP upgrades, system integrations, and automation projects. You’ll liaise with business analysts, consultants, and vendors to ensure technical solutions are scalable and maintainable, while providing backup capacity without replacing the existing ERP lead.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong SQL (MS SQL Server) and PostgreSQL development experience, including schema design and optimisation.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for backend/API integration; Python or other scripting skills a plus.
• Experience with ERP or enterprise business systems; prior manufacturing/logistics ERP exposure advantageous.
• API development and middleware/system integration experience; familiarity with iPaaS platforms is a plus.
• Comfortable working across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Minimum 3-5 years of development or systems integration experience, with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
