Your Role:

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Livestock Officer to join our team at the Grantham Processing Plant. This key role supports our livestock operations by providing accurate data, strong administrative support, and effective communication with producers, cattle buyers, and stockmen. You’ll play an essential part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of livestock through our supply chain - from property to processing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate livestock administration and record-keeping with accuracy and efficiency.
• Collate and analyse data from the processing facility and feedlot to produce performance reports.
• Provide timely feedback to producers and maintain strong working relationships.
• Support cattle buyers, stockmen, and the Livestock Supply Chain Coordinator with daily operational needs.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and problem-solving across the livestock function.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain a high standard of accuracy and organisation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in livestock administration or a similar agricultural role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficient with data entry, reporting, and general computer systems.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
• Understanding of beef production or livestock systems is an advantage.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
