Your Role:
Located on the Northern Tablelands of NSW, Rangers Feedlot operates a 40,000-head cattle feedlot alongside backgrounding and farming operations. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Farm Hand to join our farming crew.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys variety and working outdoors. You’ll be involved in day-to-day farming and operational activities and will work both independently and as part of a supportive team. Full-time role offering above-award wages and the opportunity to work within a premium beef business with a strong growth strategy.
Roster: Monday to Friday, with weekend work as required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery including tractors, front-end loaders and boom sprays.
- Working with GPS-guided equipment.
- Operating winter and summer planters.
- Centre pivot irrigation operation and basic maintenance.
- Spraying, fencing and general on-farm duties.
- Working safely and efficiently across the operation.
About You:
- Experience operating agricultural machinery.
- Comfortable using GPS technology.
- Chem Cert (or willingness to obtain).
- HC truck license (or willingness to obtain).
- A positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Mechanical aptitude or fabrication experience (welding, oxy, etc.) is an advantage, but not essential.
