Your Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our Gulf Maintenance Team.

Based in remote North Queensland, this hands-on role is responsible for transporting livestock, machinery, fuel, supplies and equipment across our station network. You will play an important role in supporting station operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, animal welfare and vehicle care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operate road trains and heavy vehicles safely across remote and regional routes.
  • Transport livestock in line with animal welfare and compliance standards.
  • Move machinery, equipment, fuel and station supplies as required.
  • Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on vehicles and trailers.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, maintenance records and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with station teams to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Assist with general maintenance and operational support duties when required.

About You:

You are reliable, practical and comfortable working independently in remote environments. You take pride in your equipment, work safely, and can adapt to changing operational needs.

You will ideally bring:

  • Previous experience operating road trains and heavy vehicles.
  • Experience with livestock transport and cattle handling.
  • Current relevant heavy vehicle licence.
  • Strong commitment to safety and animal welfare.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify maintenance issues early.
  • Previous remote station or rural operations experience highly regarded.
  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
