The Role
We are looking for Payroll Officer to join our team at our Processing Plant in Veradilla. You will be ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this position requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company Enterprise Agreements, Industrial Awards, and payroll regulations
- Perform monthly reconciliations of leave entitlements, superannuation, and payroll tax liabilities
- Prepare and submit weekly PAYG reconciliations and payroll reports
- Provide support to the Payroll and HR teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
Who We Are Looking For
- You have minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- You have excellent people skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
- You are energetic, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- You have exceptional time management and organisational abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft suite
- You have experience with Pronto (advantageous)
