What you’ll be doing

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Worker to join our feedlot team at Rangers Feedlot. Working closely with the Maintenance team, you will play a key role in keeping our feedlot infrastructure in top condition, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations across the site.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in practical work, is comfortable working independently, and enjoys the variety that comes with maintaining a large agricultural operation. You will: 

  • Assist in building, maintaining and repairing feedlot and property infrastructure
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance across the site
  • Undertake welding and fabrication for repairs and improvements
  • Operate plant and machinery, including skid steers, tractors, and loaders
  • Identify maintenance issues proactively and communicate priorities to the supervisor

What you'll bring

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Experience in maintenance, repairs, or similar hands-on work (agriculture or feedlot experience preferred but not essential)
  • Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
  • Welding or general handyman skills
  • Forklift, skid steer, or other machinery experience highly regarded
