Our operations span across Northern Queensland, with extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, a state-of-the-art cattle feedlot, fully accredited beef processing facility, and global marketing capabilities. We're opening a brand-new site in Hemmant and looking for an experienced production cleaner who's ready to step up and build their own team. This isn't just a cleaning job — it's an opportunity to shape a crew from the ground up and lead it.

What you'll be doing

• Leading production cleaning operations at our new Hemmant site
• Recruiting, training, and managing your own cleaning crew
• Setting and enforcing hygiene and safety standards in line with food industry requirements
• Working closely with site management to ensure the facility meets all cleanliness and compliance benchmarks

What you'll bring

• Experience in production/food-safety cleaning — ideally in a butcher shop, meat processing environment, a supermarket meat department (Coles/Woolworths, back when they ran their own in-house meat rooms), or any sort of factory cleaning background is also highly valued
• Someone who understands the difference between "clean" and production-grade clean: sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and attention to detail that meets audit-level scrutiny
• Leadership potential — you'll be building and leading your own team, so we're after someone reliable, hands-on, and able to set the standard for others to follow
• Comfortable working afternoon/evening shifts
