The Role
- Processing offal, tripe and other edible beef by-products in accordance with food safety, hygiene and quality assurance requirements
- Moving beef carcasses, primal cuts and meat products to chillers, freezers and designated processing areas while maintaining cold chain requirements
- Loading packaged meat products onto pallets and trucks for storage and distribution in accordance with dispatch schedules
- Packing boned, trimmed and sliced beef products into cartons, weighing, labelling and preparing them for domestic and export markets
- Separating edible offal and other beef by-products during processing in accordance with customer specifications and production requirements
- Inspecting and sorting beef products to ensure they meet company quality standards, export specifications and customer requirements
- Operating meat processing equipment and production line machinery used for cutting, trimming, portioning and packaging beef products
- Cleaning and sanitising processing equipment, tools and work areas, and complying with workplace health and safety, food safety and quality assurance procedures
Who We Are Looking For
- AQF Certificate I or completion of secondary education; relevant experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety and food safety practices
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively in a team
