What you'll be doing
In this nine-month maternity leave cover role, you'll have your hands in all kinds of marketing activities and get to work with a wide range of people and projects. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be involved in:
- Keep marketing projects, deadlines, and deliverables on track across the team using Asana
- Coordinate marketing activations, including trade shows, Chef's Tables, customer events, and in-store activity, managing logistics and suppliers
- Safeguard brand consistency across style guides, messaging, and retail POS
- Coordinate brand assets across our Canto digital asset management system, identifying gaps across our brand portfolio and following up with marketing team members and stakeholders to fill them
- Assist with the coordination of photography and videography scheduling
- Support sales with brand-aligned collateral, media kits, sample kits, and onboarding materials
- Support and drive customer engagement through the provision of in-market branded support
- Maintain the sales channel matrix (food service, wholesale, retail) and support new opportunities
- Oversee POS and event stock, liaising with suppliers on printing and distribution
- Assist in the provision and supply of branded merchandise
- Support award submissions and industry event participation
What you'll bring
You're an organised and motivated marketing professional who enjoys coordinating across a variety of projects and translating brand direction into execution. You're just as comfortable juggling multiple deadlines as you are building relationships across a team, and you're always up for learning something new. You might be:
- A graduate with a marketing, communications, or related degree ready to kick off your career somewhere you'll actually learn the ropes
- Someone with 1 to 2 years in a marketing or PR role looking to get more exposure
- An experienced marketing or coordination professional looking for a well-defined, fixed-term contract, whether you are returning to full-time work after a career break, between roles, or simply after a change of pace
Whatever your background, you'll bring:
- Strong organisation and attention to detail. You're great at managing multiple tasks and deadlines at once
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana, or a systematic approach to tracking multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You're comfortable dealing with people at all levels
- Confidence using digital marketing tools and AI, with a good understanding of social media's role in a broader marketing channel matrix
- A collaborative, team-first approach, with an appreciation for brand and creative work
- A practical, down-to-earth attitude that fits an ag business
