ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

We are looking for a permanent part-time Venue and Events Assistant to present, operate and promote the Civic Centre as a high-quality function venue that meets the needs of the Singleton community.

With qualifications or demonstrated experience in event and function management, hospitality or customer service provision, you will be able to demonstrate experience supporting the management of functions and events. In addition, you will demonstrate your ability to work effectively in a team with sound communication and conflict resolution skills.

Previous experience in facility management or working with lighting, sound systems and theatre operations would be an advantage.

 Ability to work after hours and weekends to suit planned events and functions is a must.

This position is offered on a permanent part-time basis working 22.5 hours per week across a 7-day roster.

Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 7 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $1407 - $1582 per fortnight plus superannuation.
